Ive been to another place and it’s nothing like it is here. April RodenbaughMarch 19, 2024 I transferred from Camden treatment center and I am glad that I did the only downside of it is that I was getting 27 bottles at Camden treatment center and when I I got here I only get 13 it makes me feel like I have been down graded but it is what it is. I enjoy coming here is clean quiet drama free nobody standing outside bugging you to buy something or asking for something just in an out . Thank you to tia my counselor she is great and Deb in nursing is so awesome ????........ rOctober 16, 2023 These guys are really cool and genuinely care. - OxyContin
- Vicodin
- Percocet
- Morphine
- Codeine
- Heroin
- Fentanyl
- Hydrocodone
- Other prescription or synthetic opioids
How Medication-Assisted Treatment Works at Our Virginia Location
As you recover from opioid use disorder, MAT stabilizes your body, so you can focus on healing your mind and rebuilding your life. At our methadone clinic, we use medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to reduce cravings and withdrawal symptoms, making recovery safer, more comfortable, and more effective.
Our integrated care model includes:
- Individual counseling
- Group therapy
- Behavioral interventions
- Ongoing medical monitoring
By addressing both chemical dependency and emotional triggers, we help you build a foundation for sustainable recovery.
The Life-Changing Benefits of Methadone Treatment
Methadone has helped millions of people struggling with opioid use disorder to regain control of their lives. When administered by medical professionals in a controlled setting, it offers the following benefits:- Eases the intensity of withdrawal symptoms
- Reduces cravings and lowers the risk of relapse
- Restores stability to physical and mental health
- Allows for once-daily dosing for consistency
- Improves engagement in therapy, employment, and daily life
Evidence-Based Therapies That Support Long-Term Recovery
While medication can stabilize your body, therapy gives you the long-term skills to stay sober. At our methadone clinic, we use evidence-based counseling to help you adjust your mindset, process difficult emotions, and break free from the cycle of opioid use disorder.
Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy
CBT helps you understand how negative thoughts lead to destructive behaviors. With guidance from your therapist, you’ll learn how to:
- Replace unhealthy thought patterns
- Develop healthier coping mechanisms
- Build confidence in your recovery journey
Reality Therapy
Reality therapy focuses on what you can control: your actions, your choices, and your future. You’ll explore ways to meet your needs without turning to drugs, and learn how to:
- Take accountability for your actions
- Set meaningful, achievable goals
- Build a future that reflects your values
Motivational Interviewing
If you feel stuck in a cycle of relapse, motivational interviewing can help you move forward. With this approach, you’ll identify your own reasons for wanting to recover, so change comes from within, not pressure from others.
Motivational interviewing can:
- Build self-awareness and inner motivation
- Strengthen your commitment to recovery
- Help you resolve doubts about getting clean
Solution-Focused Therapy
Rather than revisiting the past, solution-focused therapy centers on what’s next. You’ll work with your counselor to define your short-term and long-term goals, empowering you to:
- Focus on solutions, not setbacks
- Create an action plan for what’s next
