A Structured Path Toward Lasting Recovery
Recovery requires more than willpower. It requires structure, accountability, and clinical support. Our program is built to deliver individualized care and effective treatment for drug and alcohol addiction while allowing you to remain present in your daily life. Through a blend of individual and group therapy services and supervised medication assisted treatment, our IOP offers flexible support that empowers you to regain control and stability in your life while remaining engaged in daily activities.
Group Counseling
In group counseling sessions, you connect with others who understand the challenges of addiction and recovery firsthand. Sessions are led by experienced clinicians who guide discussion, teach relapse prevention strategies, and help you practice communication and emotional regulation skills in real time. By sharing experiences and learning from each other, these group therapy sessions build community and encourage positive coping strategies for long term success.
Individual Counseling
During individual counseling, you work one on one with a licensed clinician who evaluates your substance use history, mental health concerns, triggers, and support system. Together, you build a clear treatment plan with measurable goals, practical coping strategies, and accountability checkpoints. These private meetings offer a safe space to explore your journey to sobriety, develop coping skills to curb cravings, and set achievable recovery goals.
Medication Management
For individuals struggling with opioid dependence, medication assisted treatment can play a critical role in stabilization. This approach reduces withdrawal symptoms, lowers cravings, and supports neurological recovery so you can focus fully on therapy and behavioral change. Our team of medical professionals monitors and adjusts medications, including Suboxone and methadone, to help make your recovery process smoother and more manageable. Both options for MAT with Affinity have been shown to lower the risk of relapse.
Choosing the Right Level of Care for Your Situation
Choosing the right level of care is one of the most important decisions in early recovery. Treatment intensity should match your clinical and personal needs, including:
- Severity and duration of substance use
- History of relapse
- Co occurring mental health conditions
- Stability of your home and support system
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is often ideal if you need structured support while living at home. It includes:
- Multiple therapy sessions per week
- Individual and group counseling
- Medication management when appropriate
- Ongoing clinical oversight and accountability
Standard Outpatient Treatment may be appropriate if you need more flexibility. It typically includes:
- Fewer weekly sessions
- Continued therapeutic support
- Greater independence with accountability
Both levels of care use evidence based treatment methods and are designed to support long term recovery progress.
