What Our Beverly Outpatient Recovery Program Includes
Our IOP delivers in-depth addiction treatment without pulling you away from work, school, or family. Every patient gets the full support of our clinical team, plus group counseling, individual therapy, and medication management.
Group Counseling
Group sessions connect you with others in recovery who understand what opioid addiction takes from a person. You give and receive support, share strategies, and build a sense of purpose that carries recovery forward.
It’s a core part of the program, and for many patients it’s what makes them feel less alone.
Individual Counseling
One-on-one sessions with an experienced counselor focus on the roots of your substance use and the skills to stay ahead of it. This is where relapse-prevention planning and personal goals get concrete.
Our counselors draw on several proven approaches:
- Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT)
- Reality therapy
- Motivational interviewing
- Solution-focused therapy
Medication Management
Medication paired with counseling is the most effective path through opioid use disorder. We use methadone and suboxone to reduce cravings, ease withdrawal symptoms like nausea, and lower the risk of relapse and overdose.
For eligible patients, medication can start the same day you come in, because cravings and withdrawal don’t wait. Our nurses and doctors adjust your plan as you stabilize, so treatment stays both effective and comfortable.
IOP vs. Outpatient Addiction Treatment: What Is The Difference?
Both programs support recovery. The difference comes down to intensity and structure:
- Intensive outpatient (IOP): Frequent, structured group and individual sessions. More support and accountability week to week, ideal when you’re leaving detox or need firmer structure.
- Standard outpatient: Fewer sessions, and a solid step-down once you’re stable.
Why Beverly, NJ Trusts Affinity Healthcare Group with Intensive Outpatient Programs
Affinity focuses specifically on opioid use disorder, so every part of our IOP is built around what opioid recovery actually demands: medication that steadies cravings, counseling that reaches the root cause, and support that holds up long after each session ends. Families from Beverly and neighboring Delanco and Edgewater Park come to us because we treat the whole person.
Here’s what sets our program apart:
- Opioid-focused expertise. Methadone and suboxone treatment paired with behavioral therapy, the combination with the strongest record for opioid recovery.
- Same-day medication. Eligible patients can begin medication the day they walk in.
- Transportation you can count on. We arrange rides to and from sessions, which matters where NJ Transit service along Route 130 doesn’t reach every block.
- Support beyond treatment. We help connect you with employment, housing, and medical resources, and can assist with probation or parole obligations.
- Coverage that works. Medicaid, Medicare, and most commercial insurance accepted, verified before you start.
We extend the same opioid-focused care up the riverfront through our intensive outpatient program in Burlington.
