Our Intensive Outpatient (IOP) Services in Magnolia
Group Counseling
Recovery can often be an isolating experience. By building a network with others in recovery, you’ll find opportunities to connect, empathize, and find support.
Community and growth through shared experiences are a cornerstone of our group counseling program. These sessions are a safe space to develop healthy coping skills while fostering a sense of community.
Individual Therapy
Our individual counseling services provide one-on-one support that focuses on personal growth, relapse prevention, and developing strategies for managing opioid withdrawal symptoms effectively.
Individual sessions allow for a safe space to engage in sensitive discussions, addressing the motivation and triggers behind drug use, as well as developing coping skills and strategies to find success in your recovery journey.
Our treatment centers offer various types of evidence-based individual therapy, including:
- Cognitive-behavioral therapy
- Reality therapy
- Motivational interviewing
- Solution-focused therapy
By focusing on evidence-based counseling and offering a variety of treatment options, we ensure that each program is crafted to best assist individuals seeking long-term recovery.
Medication Management
Research confirms that treating addiction with a combination of medication and cognitive therapy has high long-term success rates. At Affinity Healthcare Group, we incorporate Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) to make the recovery process more manageable, alleviating withdrawal symptoms and reducing cravings.
We offer a methadone clinic and a suboxone treatment option in our medication-assisted treatment programs. Both of these medications work in similar ways — blocking opioid receptors in the brain and easing withdrawal symptoms.
IOP vs. Outpatient Addiction Treatment in Magnolia
An IOP differs from traditional outpatient addiction treatment by offering a more structured approach without requiring hospitalization. Intensive outpatient programs provide a balance for individuals in Magnolia who need significant support but can still engage in their daily lives. Unlike standard outpatient treatment, IOPs often include a treatment plan with scheduled counseling sessions multiple times per week.
Outpatient programs are less intensive than IOPs and are for those who have completed higher levels of care or require less structured support. Outpatient services involve therapy sessions that occur less frequently, instead focusing on sustaining recovery through ongoing support without the schedule of an IOP.
